1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Travmetto ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who submits a tour request or booking.
2. About Travmetto
Travmetto is a travel technology platform that enables users to build custom Turkey tour itineraries, obtain live pricing, and submit booking requests. We act as organiser and agent, coordinating services from hotels, transfer companies, local guides, and airlines.
3. User accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately via the Contact page if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Tour quotes and bookings
Quotes generated by the Platform are indicative and subject to availability confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when:
- You submit a tour request and receive written confirmation from Travmetto, and
- The required deposit or full payment has been received.
Travmetto reserves the right to decline any booking request without obligation to provide a reason.
5. Pricing
Prices shown are in the currency displayed and are based on current supplier rates, exchange rates, and availability at the time of calculation. Prices are not guaranteed until a booking confirmation is issued in writing. Significant currency fluctuations or supplier price changes between quote and confirmation may affect the final price; we will inform you before proceeding.
6. Payment
- Full payment or a deposit of 10% of the total amount is required to confirm a reservation.
- The remaining balance is due no later than 45 days before the tour departure date.
- For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.
- Payments are processed via our designated payment gateway. Card data is not stored by Travmetto.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Our full cancellation terms are detailed in the Cancellation Policy. In summary:
- Cancellations 45+ days before departure: deposit is non-refundable; remaining payments fully refunded.
- Cancellations 30-44 days before departure: 20% of total tour price charged.
- Cancellations 15-29 days before departure: 50% of total tour price charged.
- Cancellations within 14 days of departure: 100% of total tour price charged.
Travmetto reserves the right to cancel a tour if minimum participant numbers are not met, in which case a full refund will be issued.
8. Changes and amendments
If you wish to amend a confirmed booking, please contact us as early as possible. Amendment fees may apply depending on the changes requested and supplier policies. We cannot guarantee that all changes will be possible.
9. Traveler responsibilities
- Ensure you hold a valid passport with at least 6 months validity beyond your travel dates.
- Obtain any required visas, vaccinations, or travel insurance independently.
- Arrive at meeting points on time. Travmetto is not responsible for missed services due to late arrival.
- Behave respectfully toward guides, drivers, hotel staff, and other travelers.
- Disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation in activities.
10. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, loss of luggage, and personal liability before departure. Travmetto does not sell insurance and accepts no liability for losses that would have been covered by such a policy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Travmetto total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for that specific tour.
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
- We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control (see Force Majeure below).
- We are not liable for acts or omissions of third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, transfer companies) operating under their own terms.
12. Force majeure
Travmetto shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or other exceptional circumstances. In such cases we will work with you to reschedule or provide a credit; refund terms will depend on costs already incurred with suppliers.
13. Intellectual property
All content on the Travmetto platform — including text, images, logos, software, and design — is owned by or licensed to Travmetto. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.
